Unfortunately jaw recover naturally after 4-8 weeks depending how grave is the rupture and how it's treated. But as it seems in the picture he also lost teeths which he will never recover. And if it's not treated in an emergency by a good medic with bandages to maintain the lower part properly he's up to suffer for the rest of his life without being able to chew anymore and can die of infections through broken teeth's holes in gums which was common in this time.

Also in this era there is not any powerful pain suppressor nor chirurgical intervention science. I've got bad teachers, lazy ones were rare at my school time. They were strict and some were violent with disobedient students. Learning from humans is common sense to be able to use ChatGPT you need to be able to read and write first then also be able to catch concepts of what you want/need to learn too because asking ChatGPT is one thing, understanding his answer is another thing.

What!!!,hell no,damn I'm not sure I can continue with that,I love story building, construction and development but this is a complete contrast to S1 and very stressful to watch to be honest,the flow between going from action to solemnity is too fast at least they should have been some action here and there in other parts of the story even not with thorfinn it would have been way better than watching a slice of life, imagine reading or watching an action theme like solo leveling until for the next part or season to be a solemnity,the shift is too much and fast not because of thorfinn but the plot

It's written for this humane character, struck in a very dangerous and violent world (800s low medieval) that almost became a viking berserker. Now he realized something important, the fact that it's fundamentally wrong to kill. You keep seeing that old lady appear. Would you kill someone? Would you do that again? I bet you won't.
